This book is an introductory guide to every weather forecaster and student of environmental science and geography who seeks the explanation about tropical meteorology and climate and its effect to higher latitude atmosphere. It comes with discussion about the energy balance and dynamic of tropical weather, tropical zone temperature and wind, tropical flora and fauna, monsoon, tropical revolving storms, mesoscale weather systems, tropical agriculture, the importance of tropical ozone layer, etc. Since the author is a senior forecaster in the World Area Forecast Center at the Met Office UK, he shared his practical knowledge into this book as much as possible. Therefore, we could read a whole package of theories and practices relate to weather forecasting from this book.
